About Yogi:

Yogi is a Caucasian Ovcharka pup of around 12 weeks old who needs an experienced and knowledgeable home.

We are looking for land type home where he will have space to roam safely. A fully grown male Caucasian can grow up to 80 kg so a spacious home is essential.

Caucasian Ovcharka are a guardian breed who were originally bred to live with and guard livestock. The guardian nature cannot be trained out. They are a very loyal and protective breed. They will alert to strangers or animals that do not belong to their pack.

Yogi was a hand rear pup but is being well socialised with people and animals. Currently lives multi dog and spends time around various farm animals each week.

We understand that some people may have encountered Caucasians that are more sociable, but the majority have strong guarding tendencies and will act accordingly. Since we cannot predict how he will develop, we need to ensure he is placed in an environment where he will be safe and accepted for the breed he is for life.
