Why foster?

Fostering is extremely rewarding, knowing you are playing a huge role in the journey of a rescue dog through rehabilitation and helping an animal start a new life. Whilst fostering you will get to know the dogs individual personality which plays a massive part in finding them a perfect forever home

What we require from you?

  • You must live within the north east of england.  

  • You must be committed to being the main caregiver of the dog whilst in your care.

  • You must have your own transport and be able to travel to the rescue vets in alnwick, northumberland and for any training sessions 

  • Be safe and responsible.

  • Be willing and able to feed the dog on a raw diet. full support can be provided.

  • We will support you with each foster and can provide the equipment needed.

  • Communication is key, we require updates regularly, clear photos, videos and info on the dog. 

  • You will be required to care for the dog up until the day it is adopted. This will likely be a minimum of 2 months or more.

  • Be able to commit to a minimum of 3 training sessions with our team before taking in a foster.
