About Teddy:

We are working with a behaviourist whilst Teddy is in rescue to deal with reactivity, which teddy is responding really well to and has made much progress. Teddy is a young Lakie that had no socialisation prior to rescue and as a result he finds the big wide world a bit overwhelming and just a lot to process. His reaction to things he finds stressful or simply too exciting is to bark and lunge at present. He is a bright and clever boy and we are hoping to improve this situation greatly. Equally we will be looking for a home moving forward that will continue this work, give him all of the input and support he needs to become the best version of himself. He's a loving, affectionate and generally adorable character with his people. We just need to nip this reactivity in the bud. Teddy needs a committed home, routine and consistency. A home that will love and guide him. As previously posted Teddy absolutely loves his canicross. A sporty type home or just an active outdoorsy owner that enjoys hiking would be ideal. A more rural/quieter home would be best for Teddy. Somewhere with quieter walks on the doorstep to remove any stress whilst he works on becoming more confident in busier environments. Teddy is a project dog but we think he is worth the effort. So we continue our search for a family that recognises what a little diamond he has the potential to become.
