About Olivia:

Olivia came to us at the back end of last year from a pound. Picked up as a stray history unknown. She served her statutory 7 days but sadly no one came to claim her. At this point she was at high risk of being PTS . We offered to take her in and so she joined the NETR family. Her condition on arrival was poor. Somewhat emaciated, full of cuts and scars and unable to weight bear on one of her legs. Olivia was whisked off to our vet for a full MOT. Her lameness was due to a TPLO injury which we raised thousands for and had repaired. Months of crate rest followed. Bless her heart she has handled all that has been thrown at her so very well and been the best most well behaved girl throughout. Olivia is very much a foodie and getting some weight on her was not too much of an issue. Her cuts and scars are all but healed up. Shes looking and feeling soo much better.

From here we are going to begin the search for Olivia's forever home and family.

Olivia is estimated to be around 4 years old . A bigger lurcher girlie at around 25kg. Olivia walks very well on lead. She is NOT reactive at all but equally is not dog friendly. She needs an owner that will advocate for her space and keep her safe. We are ideally looking for a home with a good size secure garden for her to enjoy and be able to relax outdoors in peace. She needs to be the only pet in an adult only home. Adult only as she is a big, strong and boisterous girl. She is very affectionate, very excitable and a bit full on with showing her love. No awareness of her size, the biggest of all our lap dogs. Olivia as mentioned is very much a foodie. In typical Lurcher style is a keen counter surfer. We have been working on this. She does listen well and likes to please, she just needs some boundaries, input and consistency. Olivia travels well. She is crate trained and muzzle trained. She can be left reasonable periods without issue. A gorgeous girl that enjoys play time with her toys, human interaction and fuss.

Olivia clearly didn't have a great start to life and what we really want is a home that will love her to the point that she no longer remembers what came before. She is the most deserving soul that clearly does not know what it is to be loved and cherished by humans pre rescue.

A rural type home with quieter walks on the doorstep would be ideal. She doesn't demand a ton of exercise, most of all enjoys just pottering about at home with her people, helping in the kitchen or being cuddled up on the sofa getting belly rubs. Owners that enjoy a quieter pace of life would suit.
