Oscars is a an active, playful, silly and affectionate boy. He very much enjoys his walks and gets excited when his harness comes out. He would like a home that will get him out on some fun and exciting adventures. He's much more than a walk around the block kind of boy. He can be bouncy and vocal when he's excited but otherwise is calm and laid back in the home. He loves to play with toys, tug or fetch. He's a loving sweet character and enjoys cuddles, fuss and also to play fight with his people. As mentioned he can be a bit dramatic and vocal when he's excited and playing but otherwise not at all a noisy or barky boy. Generally easy going and happy in nature. He has a good appetite, currently eating a raw diet. Hes pretty good on lead, may pull a little initially with excitement but settles into his walks fine. He's actually fab on a long line, has good recall and checks in regularly for a small treat. Responds well to positive praise and rewards. He travels fine. He's usually absolutely fine passing other dogs on lead so long as they're not up in his face/personal space. We want a home that will advocate for him, be happy to enjoy him as an only dog and not feel the need to introduce him to other dogs. He does need to be an only pet. He'd love a home with a nice garden to potter and play. We're looking for a home with someone around more often than not. He can be left reasonable periods without issue. Currently sleeps at the foot of the human bed, doesn't make a peep all night. He does mark at times in multi dog foster but in a home of his own we think this would quickly resolve. He has lived with respectful teens happily but not used to young children. Oscar is a real sweetheart who very much deserves a home that will love and cherish him for the fabulous character that he is.
