Ben is just the most gorgeous little character. He hadn't been walked or socialised in his previous home and was not a happy boy at all. Since coming into rescue he is a completely different dog, absolutely thriving in his multi dog foster home. He is receiving adequate exercise and enrichment and is already such a happy, relaxed and content dog. He is coming on leaps and bounds, confidence growing daily. Very much enjoying his rural walks. He can be a little nervous in busier areas but just needs some gentle socialisation. We would ideally like him to go to a home with a mixed pack of dogs. He is learning how to play and interact. He is gaining so much from the dogs he is currently with and will definitely benefit and enjoy being multi dog. Resident dogs must be sociable and neutered. Ben instantly bonded with the bigger dogs (lurcher) in foster but is now developing lovely relationships with all. He has no experience of young children and we would prefer teens or adult only. He would be better in a quieter or semi rural type area. He needs gentle and kind handling . He loves to snuggle with his humans, loves a belly rub and is generally a sweet and affectionate lad. Any potential home must respect his boundaries and not pick him up anymore than is necessary. His house training needs a little work. He is crate trained. Travels very well in his crate. Walks pretty well on lead. Ok being left with other dogs for short periods. He is a pup and has had no real input up to now. We are looking for a loving, active and happy home that will guide this little one to become the best version of himself.
